Our Approach to Learning
People are unique and different; we believe learning should respect this by using a variety of activities to appeal to a range of learning styles. We are passionate users of the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory to analyse how and why people behave as they do. This allows us to harness strengths and put round pegs in round holes so that people are comfortable and able to work at maximum efficiency without stress.
We use the following tools with managers to help them understand what motivates them and their staff and to improve communication:
- Myers- Briggs Type Inventory
- Neuro-Linguistic Programming
- Learning Styles Questionnaire
We have recently noticed that Cranfield University uses a similar approach!
We believe that learning should be fun and memorable. We agree with Professor Robert Winston who says ‘laughter is an important way of learning because we breathe harder, our hearts beat faster and we get more oxygen to our brains. Effective ways of learning use different pathways in the brain, so people can remember things if they associate them with words or symbols’.
