Learner Representatives
A Learner Rep is a person within the workplace who can help their colleagues find out about learning opportunities, both inside and outside of work.
They achieve this by providing information and advice to help people identify and plan their learning opportunities. They also assist potential learners in accessing the necessary resources (both financial and non-financial) to meet their learning objectives and follow the progress of learners to ensure that they are supported throughout their learning.

The Learner Representatives Network
The course will enable you to become part of the Learner Representatives Network sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council. The benefits include:
- Monthly e-shots and quarterly newsletters updating you on new funding, new initiatives, new qualifications etc.
- Attendance at quarterly network meetings, with guest speakers held all around the county in interesting learning venues giving you the opportunity to speak to other Learner Reps and exchange best practice.
